Het doel: tandheelkundige zorg voor mensen die daar geen geld of goede verzekering voor hebben.<\/p>\n<p>Ze krijgt dak- en thuislozen, verslaafden en mensen zonder verblijfsvergunning in haar stoel. Maar ook mensen in financi\u00eble nood. Ze doet het voor nop. Uit liefde voor haar vak, maar bovenal om mensen een tweede kans te geven in het leven met een nieuwe glimlach.<\/p>\n<p>Want ze weet het zeker: \u201cEen goed gebit is je eerste stap naar succes in onze maatschappij. Dat kan ik hen geven en dat is heel dankbaar werk. Maar ik kan dit alleen doen dankzij giften die ik krijg. En dankzij Volkskracht, mijn grootste financi\u00eble steun, die mij met de kerst ook een gift gaf.<\/p>\n<p>Een behandeling kost tussen de 1500 en 2000 euro.<br \/>\nDe meeste gebitten zijn niet te redden. Ik ben vooral bezig met tanden en kiezen trekken, plaatjes maken en protheses aanmeten. Ik doe de voorkant als laatste, dat is het meest gezichtsbepalend.<\/p>\n<p>Als ik daarmee begin, zie ik sommige pati\u00ebnten niet meer terug voor de rest van hun behandeling. Eerst alles eruit halen wat ziek is, dan de kiezen vernieuwen en daarna de voortanden.
